https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=200272

           Summary: attachments sometimes are broken
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.11.2
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: martin.tlustos at gmail.com

Version: 1.11.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-13-generic

Sometimes attachments are somehow split in two parts which of course can't be
opened any more. I'm attaching the code of a message that has this problem...
As you can see the attachment encodings get spread all over the place...

Greetings, Prayer Team!=20

Dateline: London, UK - Tuesday 14 July 2009

SOME SUPER-HAPPY VISA NEWS & SOME CRAZY BUSY MINISTRY NEWS!=20

1. VISA EXPIRY NEWS. In May, we sent out an emergency S.O.S. Prayer Team =
UP-D8, letting you know that due to a change in UK law, we were going to =
have to jump through some major legal hoops to be able to stay here past =
16 July when our visas expired at 12 midnight. World Harvest Mission UK =
had applied for it's official "sponsorship" for expatriate workers under =
the new rules months ago. But we watched and waited, waited and watched =
the clock ticking down to 16 July. GASP... nothing. What to do? Since =
I'm also an elder in the IPC (International Presbyterian Church, founded =
by Francis Schaeffer back in the '60s), and they had just won their =
Class "A" sponsorship, they invited us to apply under their auspices--a =
pretty iffy proposition since we've been here for four years under WHM =
UK, not the IPC!=20

"BUT GOD, who is rich in mercy..." At 7:30 am on the 4th of July, our =
postman rang the doorbell (has NEVER happened before 11!) with a =
"Special Delivery" envelope from the UK Border Control Agency containing =
sa letter and our passports. Hands trembling, we ead the enclosed =
letter--"approved for TWO MORE YEARS"! Two Doubting Thomases did a quick =
double-check of their passports, found the visas pasted inside, =
embraced, and stood in the middle of the room BLUBBERING LIKE A COUPLE =
OF BABIES!=20

You guys, had this not been approved, TODAY we would have been forced to =
cancel ALL our ministry commitments for the next six months, pack up and =
fly to the States to begin the application process all over =
again--something that has taken some MTW friends 6 months! GOD IS SO =
GRACIOUS! Rejoice with us. Once again we've been reminded of the wise =
words of a gracious elect lady over 80 from McIlwaine PCA in Pensacola: =
"God is never late, but he is sometimes desperately last-minute."=20

2. MINISTRY NEWS IN ENGLAND=20

A. Grace4Life (G4L) is being field tested all over--by pastors in the =
USA, pastors here, and by Becky and me in numerous venues. Every group =
is feeding us suggestions for improvement, so I spend many hours every =
week hurriedly making changes and printing out the new lessons just in =
the nick of time for the next wave of classes.=20

B. Three weeks ago, Becky began a G4L group with 15 ladies in NE London. =
I AM SO PROUD OF HER! Every Friday afternoon, she braves the 5:00 =
rush-hour traffic to drive from our home in NW London - all the way to =
NE London - teaches 2 hours, then drives back to her nervously waiting =
hubby, arriving around 10:45. Her ladies are loving it! They say their =
hearts are being deeply changed. Please pray for an ongoing work of the =
Spirit in this group. One needs to be converted. Others are in full-time =
ministry and need to fall in love with Jesus again so they are serving =
him motivated by love rather than duty, grateful joy rather than guilt, =
fear or the need for praise.=20

C. We've completed the G4L course with the World Harvest team in Harrow =
who minister in the Indian community. Their reports were such that the =
20-strong WHM team in Southall asked us to work with them as well. We =
meet Monday mornings from 10 - 12, then have lunch together. We've just =
finished Lesson 9 (Forgiveness as a Way of Life). We're breaking for a =
few weeks while they do their LEAP Week (hosting 48 Americans!) and take =
much-needed vacations (pics show most of the Southall team).=20

D. Three weeks ago, we started a Tuesday night G4L with the ministry =
interns and others at our home church - All Souls Clubhouse (a satellite =
of All Souls Langham Place). We are VERY happy to have this sort of =
input into the lives of these 20-something couples just beginning their =
ministries. Would that we had been exposed to such teaching for the =
heart early-on!

E. Bits & pieces: 1. I'm on the preaching rota (rotation) at our home =
church, and at the IPC church plant 4 hours north of London in Culcheth =
(greater Manchester). I'm to preach in Culcheth this Sunday, and at All =
Souls next week, same text, John 8:12 - "I am the light of the world." =
2. This past Saturday, Becky and I were in central England =
(Loughborough) where I preached at the installation of a dear pastor =
friend. 3. Just this morning we drove up to High Wycomb where I spoke to =
a missionary team working among the M**lim community. SUPER time that we =
think will lead to more ministry with them--and beyond. 4. Tonight we =
hop the Tube into the city to teach G4L. 5. Fridays at lunch- time =
(unless we have to be elsewhere) we're with some of our interns on the =
sidewalk near our church with our A-frame signboards, "FEELING PREYED =
UPON? Good news! God is... God loves... God cares. May we PRAY FOR YOU?" =
Please pray for "divine appointments"--oppor- tunities to share the =
Gospel with open-hearted passers-by. 6. We have other groups asking to =
take G4L--and to be trained in how to teach it. It's exciting that our =
labor has not been in vain! (Like... what if you'd spent four years =
writing a course nobody wanted to take!?) As it is, we're having to say =
either "No" or "Wait" a lot.

3. UPCOMING MINISTRY NEWS ABROAD - SPAIN, INDIA & AFRICA=20

SPAIN: In mid-September, we're to fly to southern Spain to do a =
mini-retreat with the staff of our World Harvest team in Granada.

INDIA: Becky and I have been asked to travel with a small World Harvest =
team from the US and England the end of September/first week of October =
to teach a group of pastors and their wives about living and ministering =
by grace. Who'd a thank it, that two old folks like us (Becky's just 39 =
but I'm about to turn 67) would be diving into a totally new country and =
culture!? Hopefully, our ten years in Indian churches in Kenya have =
helped prepare us for this... maybe... well, a little bit! : )=20

AFRICA: 1. Abidjan, Ivory Coast - Plans are being laid for us to teach =
Grace4Africa (our course in West African French) to a large group of =
pastors (130 or more) and their wives ) in April of 2010. 2. AND, we =
have an invitation from a group in Dakar, Senegal (up the coast) to do =
the same either just before or after the Ivory Coast conference. Please =
pray for these to gel. Funding is a major obstacle for our hosts.=20

Thank you & bless you for your faithful, loving prayer and support. YOU =
GUYS ARE THE BEST!=20

Johnny & Becky=20

PTL some dear individuals have come on board with new support, and some =
churches have increased their support--GOOD since a third church has =
just dropped us due to the financial crunch--a $420.00 per month loss!=20

Greetings, Prayer Team!=20

UK, not the IPC!=20

OF BABIES!=20

YOU =
GUYS ARE THE BEST!=20

Johnny & Becky=20

PTL some dear individuals have come on board with new support, and some =
churches have increased their support--GOOD since a third church has =
just dropped us due to the financial crunch--a $420.00 per month loss!=20
