systemsettings->Appearance->Colors->Colors->View>Alternate Background:
I changed it first to complete white. But then in konqueror file browser it is
harder to detect the size and date of a short file name.
So I changed the Alternate Background to a very light blue (Red:247, Green:247,
Blue:255). That way I can still figure out in konqueror file browser size and
dates and the message list of my kmail now no longer has that aggressively
alternating background color.
