I am not sure it will be so easy to reproduce especialy if I need to run it
from a konsole (that's not my usual way of starting it, but I will try to
remember to do it).

One thing I can add is that the "empty trash bin" feature was not working OK
shortly before it crashed. Asking for it seems to have no effect whatsoever on
the content of the trash bin which was keeping all the deleted email in it.
This is on the second or third request to empty the trash bin that kontact went
belly up with SIGABRT.
