Running 64-bit kontact 1.3, on a 4-core system with 4800 bogomips per core, it
takes between 10 and 11 seconds to scroll the calendar forward by a single
month.

Consequently, trying to move backwards and forward and checking the calendar
for several months is a rather unpleasant experience, even on a new and fairly
fast machine.
