To reproduce the crash: after you have disabled the Mail component, accepted
the dialog: in the Settings click any of the disabled KMail items.
Kontact will crash (I suppose this is because the item you selected is trying
to access to KMail configuration and as there is not a KMail instance (the
KMail component is disabled))
