Summary: composer spelling defaults to German when kmail starts
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.12.4
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: dow at oakland.edu

Version: 1.12.4 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

Whenever kmail is started, the composer spell checker starts out in German and
has to be reset to my language, English_American. I have looked at kmailrc in
HOME/.kde4/share/config. It changes the spelling language accordingly as sonnet
is configured; however this setting seems to make no difference to the composer
when it is started. It always starts spell checking in German. Once it is reset
it stays reset until kmail quits.

This is a minor but very annoying bug.
