Dear Olivier,

Apologies for not being able to get back to this earlier, I have had very
little time to spend with my computer in the past few weeks.

I did see your message and installed the knode-debuginfo package. In the
meantime, I had upgraded my KDE to 4.3.4. The bug is no longer present, so I
can't submit any new information. I have not done anything else besides an
upgrade in the very usual way.
