This bug will go away once KMail is fully ported to Akonadi, as everything,
including filtering, runs in background processes and the KMail GUI can't be
blocked anymore. The Akonadi port of KMail currently happens in the
akonadi-ports branch and is expected to arrive for KDE 4.5.
