Looks as if this is a bug concerning unmaintained KDE 3 code. I'm heavily using
dIMAP for half a year now and had no such problem.
As suggested I'm closing this bug now. Please says so if you think it needs to
be reopened. But if you see a clearly reproduceable loose of your inbox, maybe
better fill a new bug.
