I'm very glad to be wrong on this.

The "nothing fancy" promise is disappointing. It is the 21st century, the
minimal goal should be to allow e-mailing anything, that can be written, drawn,
or painted on a piece of paper and stuffed into an envelope. An external
attachment should not be required for anything, where a physical equivalent
does not require a parcel-box, so to speak.

No need for everything at once -- I'll be happy with gradual progress. But I'm
wary of forswearing "fancy"... Thanks for listening.
