Reproduction:

Only happens when Kontact is opening when I turn on the pc and Kontact
automatically loads up having been open in the previous session.

When opening Kontact manually it is okay.

Note that I have Kmail set to check for mail at startup.

I do not use kwallet (as is mentioned in similar bugs)
