I'm using kmail-1.12.0 from within kontact w/ IMAP/ssl.

I have the same problem when changing folders on slow connections. Also this
appears on restarting kmail.
Date column is truncated and a disliked horizontal scrollbar appears. This is
annoying for I have to resize subject column every time I change folders.
