Thanks for the reply 
However this was used to update my KDE 4.3 as a suggestion as without it i was
not able to carry out the update 
as there were too many conflicts involved.0 Please advise. 

However if you can point me in the right direction i will carryout any
adjustments you are requesting eg.
Which repositories should i be looking at?
