Summary: Font editing does not work in KMail
Product: kmail
Version: unspecified
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: kevin.coonan at gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Use: Selected section of text in a message to change formatting (change font
and make bold) w/o luck. When entered a blank line below, the changes
appeared.
Problem in part seems to be that if an area of text is selected and font
settings applied, if there are existing font settings, the changes will not be
applied. So if {[This is in one font]<And this is in another>} you selected
the text in brackets {} and change the font to be the first font, it would not
be applied. You would have to select only the text <> with the undesired font
and apply the font change.
The usual behavior should be that any font changes you apply to selected text
would be applied to all of the selected text.
