It happens for both IMAP and local folders here. Sometimes the sender of the
mail to be forwarded is put into the TO field, sometimes it's a URL from within
the mail, sometimes it's just the last part of a URL, sometimes even my own
name and email address.

It looks as though kmail somehow remembers recently used, seen or selected urls
and defaults to the last one of those. It really is weird.
