Summary: Merging contacts with different names loses one name
                    without any choice
           Product: kaddressbook
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: rerxrerx at gmail.com
                CC: tokoe at kde.org

Version: 4.3.0 (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It can occur that one wants to merge two contacts that are filed under
different names, i.e. "Joe" from the mobile phone and "Joe Smith" from the mail
client. Currently one of the two names is picked for the merged contact without
asking the user for any confirmation, the other is discarded. In the example
the user typically would prefer to keep the full name, but he can't be sure
which one will be taken.

I'd prefer to see a dialog box with a listing of all the names asking the user
which one to keep.
