What I was doing when the application crashed:
Calendar is syncing with Google Calendar using GCALDaemon. Added the 'Next
Event' Google Labs functionality to the calendar on Google's site and Kontact
crashed immediately after.
Akonadi had been restarted just before this happened which may have also caused
the crash.
