With KDE 4.2.2, the situation with the regard to this problem got worse: In
KDE3, at some point it started correctly opening messages when I double-click
them in the search view - they appeared as new window. Now in KDE4, when I
double-click, it opens them in the preview part of the main KMail window, which
is behind the search window. So first of all you don't see anything happen as
the search window hides the message, and even if you know it will be there you
have to constantly switch between search window and main window.
