well, I don't remember 1.9.10 crashing on anything so far ... the situation
described within the first comment does not lead to crash even after several
retries ... however, on KDE 4 machine, currently running kmail 1.11.1, I have
experienced several crashes; unfortunately, no backtrace available to compare
with this
