I can confirm this in both kmail 1.9.10 & 1.11.2. I think reporter is talking
about "[Gmail]" folder which has other folders in it including all, draft,
sent, spam, starred & trash. We can not select [Gmail] folder to
subscribe/unsubscribe but its subfolders can be selected and can be subscribed
or unsubscribed.
