Why not use only the email address on the filter?

If you filter: "J L Smith < jlsmith at somewhere.com>" and the name has been
changed to "Something Else < jlsmith at somewhere.com>", it is right that the
filter fails.

Moreover, when you create a filter on the "From" field, the filter uses only
the email. This seems not a real problem IMHO.
