Summary: No space left on this -> KMail will delete absolutely
                    everything
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: nuorama at gmail.com

Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

With no space left on the disk KMail 1.10.1 will output an error message and
then delete absolutely everything it had in its directories, configuration,
everything.

<
Insert here madness messages for loosing hundreds of messages (the ones sent in
the last weeks completely unrecoverable as they where not backed up and not
registered on the server), the outbox and all settings.

Frankly speaking I think this bug is coded by someone, and not a side effect. I
have never seen any program deleting everything like this. And it just happens
that you don't notice that you run out of space because of some xsession errors
file grows out of control. Just why do I need to be punished like this for
being a somewhat early KDE adopter?!
