Summary: Some incoming mails can not be opened or worked with
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.9.9
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: ondrej.kolacek centrum cz

Version: 1.9.9 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

At one moment, my incoming mails started to arrive in weird state (through pop3): although I can see them in their respective folders, when I select them, their content does not show in the reading "window" as if no mail was selected. All the old messages can be viewed without problem. When I restarted kmail, I could view content of one of the mails but the remaining stayed unreadable. If I look into the .kde folder where my mails are stored, I can see that the files containing the mails are present and do not look damaged. I can even select "Forward" on such mails and in attachment I can read the content of the mail. When I try to delete the mail, the item gets "crossed" as if it is in the phase of deleting but nothing happens and after switching away and back to the folder, the mail is there again, "uncrossed". When I try to move the mail to other folder, kmail crashes.
