I clicked on one or two messages in an IMAP folder list, at which point kmail crashed. There were already problems before that - whenever I clicked on a message in the list, the header was displayed but no body  - both in the preview panel and when the mail was opened. I had already deleted the IMAP index files just before starting kmail - it keeps having problems with the index files apparently getting out of sync. So the index files can't have been the problem, since I hadn't deleted any mails (being unable to view them).

I'm sorry to say that since upgrading to KDE 3.5.9, IMAP has become even more unreliable than before for me.
