Summary: fix button order in pop/smtp security dialog
Product: kmail
Version: 1.9.9
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: chris.reiter gmx at
Version: 1.9.9 (using 3.5.9, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu1~gutsy1~ppa1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic
When configuring the KMail accounts, you can setup the encryption settings od the pop/smtp accounts.
I think it would be a tiny change to make them a little bit more user-friendly.
Each time I open one of the two dialogs (and I often set up systems) the "Check What the Server Supports" button is either up or down on the dialog.
I would reccommend to make a more consistent look-and-feel and move the smtp one up - because:
First you click on the Extras/Security tab (BTW - why different names - because of the pipelining? move that to the "general" tab!). then your mouse is still there and the next one you could click is the "Check What the Server Supports" button - it sohouldn't be down, you would have then to go up again.
It's a small change, but improves the workflow and consistence.
There are many, mand of those tiny - mostly design - errors that would make KDE better if they weren't...
thanks
