I just recognized that korganizer is also crashing upon startup. I don't know if this may also cause my troubles with kontact.

Since the last startup of kontact that worked well I configured two advanced reminders for two items on my Todo list (just setting up an alarm 1 day before the end of the task instead of before the beginning).
