Summary: Attach File - Kmail, Location incorrectly captured
Product: kmail
Version: 1.9.51
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: alan.braslau cea fr
Version: 1.9.51 (using 4.00.80 (KDE 4.0.80 >= (KDE 4.1 Beta1), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25
During message compostion, attaching a file opens the "Attach File - Kmail" dialog. Entering the desired name in the Location field selects matching filenames as I type, but then fails to correctly use the selected filename.
As in illustration, the selected directory contains the files:
myfile2007.pdf
myfile2008.pdf
Typing "myfile290" then nicely presents 2 choices as a tooltip popup. Selecting the second indeed shows up in the Location field, yet the first remains highlighted in the filelist pane. It is the highlighted filename that is then attached.
A precision: typing "myfile2008" does highlight the correct name, and the desired file is attached. The bug seems to be in the selection from the tooltip style short list.
