Currently, replying to multiple selected messages in kmail 1.9.51 (kde4 beta1) only includes the FIRST selected message, both for its choice of recipient(s) and for the quoted text.

As described above (or in the other bugs marked as duplicates), the correct behaviour would be a union of authors (in the case of reply) or of all recipients (except for me) in the case of reply to all. As with mutt.

By the way, this feature is absent from most popular email clients (other than mutt) but has been available since the stone age under VAX/VMS. Just don't believe that email is a "recent" invention of the internet.
