Thomas, why this report is a duplicate? I am not talking about numbering policy, but on design how to preserve user toolbars.

Changing in numbering won't solve a thing and I would be against it (changing numbering, it is not a solution). I wish for good design, so it would work even for KDE 1.0 -> KDE 17.0 upgrade.
