           Summary: simplify to delete knotes
           Product: knotes
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: Wolfram.R.Sieber GMail com

Version: 3.6 (using 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-8 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-6-686

As a matter of convenience -- and maybe even of consistency -- I'd like to see the knotes to behave similarly to Konqueror, in the way of getting rid of a knote: If I hit the delete button in Konqueror, a file gets moved to the trash bin only. If I initiate the same operation but hold down the Shift key then, the file gets deleted, actually.

Similarly, to get rid of knotes might get eased: Hitting the close button would close the note but keep it available. Doing the same together with Shift would purge the note. -- As simple as holding the Alt key and drag a window around, with the mouse, so indeed a matter of convenience (i.e. not of nothing but pure taste).

I think, to do it this way would reduce the number of times you hit the close button of a knote intending to get rid of it once and for all, but all you achieve is to get the knote window closed. So you have to get after that particular knote explicitely.

At least I ran into that oftenly -- once too often now, hence I file this feature request.

I'd like to learn whether anyone else made similar experiences in this matter, and whether my suggested change would fit your needs -- or what to change alternatively.
