In the lower right corner, I observe the completion status of various
transactions (one or several stacked progress indicators).  Whenever
I attempt to cancel any of those transactions by clicking the cross
to the right of the progress indicator, kmail follows (sometimes after
a bit of delay) with a crash.  My mail servers are reached in the IMAP 
mode.  However, this happens even with sending transactions using
a remote SMTP server (not an IMAP operation).
