Summary: add address - lockup then crash of kontact when
                    groupware server unavailable
           Product: kontact
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: peterroots at googlemail.com

Version: unknown (using 3.5.10, Kubuntu (hardy)
4:3.5.10-0ubuntu1~hardy1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-22-generic

I have calender and address book resources locally and on an egropupware server
at work. These work fine.
at home, where the server is not reachable, if I right click an email address
in a received email and try to add it to my address book I get either a server
error or an server not found error (depending on whether i have an internet
connection at the time) and kontact locks up. on closing kontact it crashes.
I would expect an error or warning if the groupware server is unavailable but
would expect to be able to add addresses to my local address book as normal.
adding calender items works fine (I get to chose where to add them).adding a
contact is fine from contacts it jsut fails on right click in kmail. i can
right click adn copy address then add it from contact but I can not right click
and open an address in address book without the same error lock and crash.
