I can still reproduce this bug using:
Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2))

The assert is the same. The backtrace differs on which option inside KMail in
the Kontact Settings Dialog do you click.
