Here's the scenario that I seem to run in to quite often: I open my spam folder
with 600 messages and I only want to quickly scan the subject lines and delete
all of it. What happens is that kmail wants to download each and every one to
my local machine. When I connect through a slow link, this is even more
problematic. With Thunderbird, I can delete  everything and compact the folder
and I'm done in seconds.
