Summary: process such event: mark mail as X when it is already
marked as X (X for example = unread)
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: bluedzins wp pl

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

PRAISE:
------
Let's say you set KMail to mark message as read after 2 seconds. However when you move to the read message and mark the message as unread, KMail will not automatically switch it to read. Very good, user intentionally marked this message as unread.

PROBLEM:
-------
When user sets message as X when it is already X (for example unread) nothing happens (internally, it is just a guess). So it is impossible to move to _unread_ message, mark it as unread to turn off the timer.

WISH:
----
Process such marking as usual, so as the "side effect" user will get turning off the timer.
