When I start up Kmail is showing mail in the "inbox" folder and the
tree-view on the left side of Kmail is like this...

    - Local Folders
    | - inbox
    | |-folder1
    | |-folder2
    | \-folder3
    |
    | - outbox
    | - sent-mail
    | - wastebin
    | - drafts
    | - templates
    | - folder4
    | - folder5
    \ - folder6

If I click on folder1, folder2, folder3, outbox, folder4, etc. then
nothing gets displayed, Kmail just crashes.

I observed crashes when I tried to disable (periodic) mail-checking --
because of the crashes observed above:

Settings -> Configure Kmail -> Accounts -> Receiving -> [Select acount]
-> Modify -> [Change settings] -> OK

Eventually, I managed to get a "run" where Kmail accepted turning off
periodic mail checking for the (2) receiving accounts.

Note: the problem first occurred using the Kmail that came with the
OpenSuse10.2 DVD image.

I downloaded and compiled kdepim-3.5.6.tar.bz2 -- but Kmail still crashes.
