Version:           1.2.3 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45.2" , openSUSE 10.2)

If I receive a mail with eg OOo or MSO files in it, they would only be opened with the external (OOo) program IF ... 

... OpenOffice is _not_ already running.
    If OOo is already running, the themporary file is deleted by kamail to fast.
    If OOo is not running yet, kmail waits until opening finished.

... I have not selected an other mail while opening the attachement by external programs.
    btw: Select a second attachement while downloading the first may crash kmail.

Also: the temporary stored attachement should not be deleted after opening it with OOo.
OOo opens mail attachements readonly. If I click on 'Edit File' Button, it could not be changed to edit mode because the file is deleted yet :(
