When I compact my inbox with a few messages in this folder using right click->Compact Folder on the inbox item of the folder list, the message list is empty after compacting is finished. The messages aren't gone, selecting an other folder and going back to my inbox makes them reappear and display the message list correctly.

My inbox is mbox. The problem does not seem to occur using maildir folders.

This is using KMail 1.9.7
