Summary: Attachments in attached emails being saved as zero
length files
Product: kmail
Version: 1.9.5
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: kde-pim d strickers org uk
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
I have an email containing three attached emails. Each contained email had attachments.
Right click on main email and "Save Attachments..." produced: "No attachments to save."
If you scroll through the main message to each embedded message and click on the attachment icon and "Save As..." you get a zero length file saved. "Open With..." also gives an error by the receiving program (Ark, in this case).
However, if you view the message in its own window and View -> Attachments -> As icons, each embedded message appears as an ' ' icon. You can then click on these and open the embedded message in its own window. From here, you can save the attachments successfully.
Mail server is Courier IMAP.
