Summary: IMAP Authentication Endless Request Loop
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.9.5
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: stealth.banana gmail com

Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Similar in a way to bug 136545

An IMAP account I have not used for sometime, and I forgot the password to (oops). A request comes up for the account details (Username known, password blank). Reset the password via my ISP so choose cancel on the request box. Error box pops up informing me that "The server does not support TLS. Disable this security feature to connect unencrypted."

Unfortunately pressing OK on this takes me back to the Authorisation Dialogue. This effectively locks me out of kmail with an endless loop with no way to alter the settings until I kill kmail.
