Summary: Crash and loss of mails in local IMAP cache
Product: kmail
Version: 1.9.6
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: crash
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: christian22 utanet at
Version: 1.9.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux
KMail frequently looses the content of mails obtained from an IMAP server. I can see the mail header and the address list, but no content. When I move such an empty mail to the trash, KMail crashes with the log listed below.
If the local KMail cache in .kde/share/apps/kmail is deleted manually and rebuilt after restarting KMAil, everything works fine again. Rebuilding the cache using "File- Rebuild local IMAP cache" does not help. I am using OpenSuse 10.3.
