Summary: KMail crashes when "From:" line contains UTF-encoded
                    name [with example mail]
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.9.7
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: bensberg justemail net

Version: 1.9.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc-3.4.6
OS: Linux

When the "From:" line of an email is encoded in UTF-8, clicking on such an email will crash KMail. Please try with the attached tiny example email. It might be that the encoding in this mail is somehow wrong, I can't tell, but even if that were the case, KMail shouldn't crash.

As far as I can tell this started happening with version 1.9.7.
