Summary: can't send any e-mail
Product: kontact
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: brytanix yahoo co uk
Version: 1.2.4 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic
Every time I try to send an email I get a message:
'It's not possible to send messages without specifying a sender address.
Please set the email address of identity 'Default' in the Identities section of the configuration dialogue and then try again.'
The problem is that I do specify a sender address as I normally do using any other email client. It seems that Kontact doesn't 'see' the email address I enter.
