Feature request: Crossfade by dragging objects over another

as you can read here

same track transition is on the roadmap
  between the short term goals and one of the reason why of the 
refactoring.
We hope you'll be patient enough to wait for it to be implemented. :-)

I support this. Cross fade is pretty often used and could be simpler
