Thanks for this great hint, will test it asap!

Also I apologize that we haven't given any feedback yet, currently all
efforts have been to finish the refactoring for the next release (which is
next week). After that I am sure the devs will have a look and maybe add it
for 19.04.1 due next month.

We have a respin for 'kdenlive', due to more late fixes that hopefully 
make the initial timeline refactoring release more stable.

Changes:
     Fix broken spacer tool and thumbnails disappearing with razor and 
space tools
     Fix normalise default parameters
     Show fade effects in main tab
     Fix proxy clip with speed effect losing name
     Fix parameters for blur type
     Fix bezier effect
     Fix compo corruption
     Fix url params not activated on return
     Fix qml warning
     Fix corruption on composition group move
     Merge branch 'compo_fix' into 'Applications/19.04'
     unbreak corner
     Fix some effects parameters
     Fix extract zone causing ungroup. Fixes #143
     Fix timeline guide losing category on move. Fixes #142
     Don't allow composition resize on very small zoom levels (messes 
with move)

Just thought I'd mention that when you add the stable ppa to Ubuntu 
19.04, there are no Kdenlive 19.04 packages to install.

The latest refactored release looks absolutely KILLER, by the way!!!

Jesse, long time!

Don't know what is the status of the PPA, but you can try the AppImage
(from our website) and Flatpak versions.

We intend to focus the 19.04 cycle to fix all the small issues left and
polish the rough edges so help with testing is much appreciated.

Congratulations!

One question: in the broken effect list on the wiki, both the bezier 
curves and the ordinary curves have "Does not show the correct overlay 
for each colour in refactoring" comment, however the bezier curves are 
stated as "broken" while the ordinary curves are "OK". Are they both 
broken or is it really as stated?

Same problem for Debian versions (stable, of course): No repository.
At Kdenlive website talks only about using Full-testing Debian version,
an no way with a Stable Debian to get it from adequate packaged binaries.

Ubuntu's PPA is the way to use a dedicated repository with Ubuntu
(stable version) instead of having to work with Ubuntus in development
stage (such as 19.10 today)

zooming and scrubbing through timelines. It also shows you at a glance the
length of a clip or sequence.

With this feature you can change the zoom level of a timeline by simply

through the timeline by clicking and dragging a scrollbar in the middle.

If this feature was considered before and rejected, would you be
considerate enough to recap how that decision was arrived at?

If this feature might be added would you be so kind as to indicate its
priority?
