I 'm happy I added "to the best of my knowledge" -obviously my knowledge 
wasn't good enough here.
But yet I'm somewhat surprised to see these technical test results 
appear here.Is this kind of mail covered by "discussions about program 
orientations or technical points"?

Well, I didn't mean to be harsh at all; I 'm sorry if my post can be 
felt that way. And of course, the trouble is little (I do have a 
dedicated and properly filtered kdenlive folder), and my appreciation of 
the work of the dev's is much greater than the trouble caused here.
