Nvidia crash using kdenlive: where to start?

Hi all,

I have the time and inclination to look into this bug:

I have master and refactoring_timeline branches compiling from git.
Plus movit and mtl compiling from git. All ready to fork and fix
but.... where to start? Any pointers?
