Hey,

I have started to work on the code again (will be offline next week
however) but currently
cannot promise anything. Failed quite miserably at that in the past...
After proper mlt producer - kdenlive clip interaction (adding/removing
clips to the timeline, movement across tracks) is implemented I will
attempt to create a roadmap/guide for porting features in order to make
it easier for others to work on the refactored code.
