Did you also revert to an older version of FFmpeg or did you only change MLT ?

If you only changed the MLT version, it would be great if you can create a 
very simple project in Kdenlive the shows the bug and archive it to a tar.gz 
file (in Kdenlive, go to Project > Archive Project, and check the "Compressed 
archive box).

Then attach the project to your bug report, it will help us to understand the 
problem in MLT.
