[Kdenlive-devel] Title Widget / Monitor scene speed

Hi,
for me both the title widget and the monitor scene are quite slow and
hardly usable. They both use QGraphicsView + QGraphicsScene.
I remember the title widget being much faster about half a year ago. As
on the Kdenlive side monitor scene and titler do not share code (there
are similarities now, but the problem existed with monitor scene when it
was just a blank qgraphicsscene with a rect) this is probably related to
my qt build. I use the Archlinux qt package.
Does anyone of you have similar problems or any ideas on how to fix this?
